RSA ClearTrust® Software: The Clear Winner

RSA Security Inc.’s Web access management software leapfrogged the competition in recent benchmarking tests.

RSA ClearTrust® 5.01 software performed 99 percent faster than Netegrity, Inc.’s SiteMinder® 4.6.1, and 110 percent faster than Oblix, Inc.’s NetPoint™ 4.0, according to results from Mindcraft, Inc., an independent software-testing lab in Los Gatos, California.

RSA ClearTrust Web access management set new records. The software achieved 60,144 logins per minute and 221,980 extranet operations per minute per authorization server, the highest such performance the lab has measured, says Bruce Weiner, president of Mindcraft. The other results showed SiteMinder software with 37,251 logins and 161,192 extranet operations per minute, and NetPoint software with 28,440 logins and 178,860 extranet operations per minute.
